Moderator Biography:
Lisa serves as the SVP and CHRO, for Veradigm, with responsibilities including overall human resources strategy, global talent acquisition, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, total rewards, HR operations and technology, culture development and employee relations. Lisa joined Allscripts (now Veradigm) in March 2020 as Director of HR Talent/Operations Optimization. She later added the Talent Acquistion team to her portfolio before being promoted to SVP Global Human Resources in 2021. In early 2022, Lisa was appointed Chief Human Resources Officer. Lisa and her team focus on continuously enhancing the employee experience; streamlined HR Operations, enhanced Total Rewards, robust L&D programming, internal engagement, Community Give Back and executive coaching.
Prior to joining Veradigm, Lisa served as the Vice President of HR, Training, Sales and Marketing for LMR, LLC, a hospitality company where she led the transformation of the HR function to strategic partner. She streamlined the HRIS systems, saving money and alleviating administrative burden on restaurant leaders; negotiated benefit contracts that reduced financial burden while increasing the offering; developed a robust leadership development and management training that enhanced the skills of new and tenured leaders; served as Executive Coach to the executive and operations leaders, supporting open communication and collaborative decision making. In addition to her HR responsibilities, she took on additional leadership responsibilities and she built the Private Dining/Sales team, resulting in double digit sales growth over three years; led the marketing team supporting efficiency during a time of high growth.
Lisa has also served in leadership roles at Samsung, On The Border, ACG Texas, and Blockbuster.
Lisa holds a BA from Indiana University (double major in Criminal Justice & Political Science) and a Professional Coach certification from NC State, along with certifications in TTI-EQ, DISC Behavioral Analysis, TTI-Driving Forces, Six Sigma Green and Lean Black Belt. She was recognized with a Triangle Business Journal-Women in Business Award 2022 for Mentoring, and Top 50 CHRO in 2024 by Women We Admire.
She gives back to her communities through her involvement with Heroes Who Read (along with Therapy Dog Bogart), Go Red for Women Executive Team, Good Barrels of the Triangle and various Give Back opportunities. Additionally, she serves on her HOA board and is the immediate past President/current Board member of the Raleigh Racquet Club.
